I spent a full month in Phnom Penh

but yet didn’t realise how dirty this city can be

darkness hidden in many allies

had a neighbour

in an airbnb apartment I was renting

cursing n kicking multiple ladies at his place

fighting over drugs or sex

girls trying o escape and begging to get paid

so dark n dirty

what was shocking the most

were the neighbours

local ones who never trie to step up and report the foreigner to the police

perhaps police wouldn’t have done much

once a Canadian fooled me

begged me for money telling me stories of him

having his cards blocked

and I helped

coz I believed

then I was informed he , just like many

had his head drawn into the meth land of Phnom Penh
